| "Every band has influences, but were not trying to sound like any one else," says Jennifer On Sunday frontman Jim Hodson when asked to describe their music. "Were just doing what we want to do." The band is dedicated to the proposition that music is meant to be heard, not filed away in some college radio trash bin after running its short underground course. Jennifer On Sunday produces smooth, smart, guitar-driven rock with a meticulous combination of strong vocal melodies, rich guitar chords, and streaming bass lines. Based out of the Washington, DC area, the members actually met at Virginia Tech. The line-up consists of: Jim Hodson - vocals, guitar Eric Frost - drums, backing vocals Jake Bell - bass, backing vocals Since the band formed, JOS has continued to grow in popularity, drawing crowds to venues all over Virginia, New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and North Carolina. With recent appearances on MTV Undressed, the band is excited about people hearing the music nationwide. Their second full-length album, Paper Covers Rock, was just released in 2003. This new CD is their best effort yet, deeper and stronger than the previous releases. Left Off The Dial says, "Jennifer On Sunday has produced a top quality album with a distinctive sound that should propel them beyond the limits of college radio stations nationwide."
